Woohoo! Figured out Blogger on an App!

As you probably realized, Im talking to myself LOL! Well that too but I also found the Blogger App! I am so excited! Maybe it will be easier for me to blog now! I usually do everything from my IPad since our computer is soooo sloooow!!!

Today was a fun day! My friend, Mary, and I went shopping. I had a blast until I got sick on the way home. Still not sure why :(. We had a great lunch at Osaka, a Japanese steak house and sushi bar! Tried a new sushi roll, the KooKoo Roll! It was yummy! Also, did some yarn and supply shopping at Hobby Lobby and Michael's; then ended it with cupcakes. Can't get much better! Of course getting sick on the way home sucked.

I didn't even touch a crochet hook today,so tomorrow will be cleaning, cooking and crochet day! Gonna try and finish up some items to ship out before I head to Houston Friday, with my daughter. We are going see Blake Shelton at The Houston Livestock and Rodeo show.also, visit with my aunt and her family!

Have a good night (its 11:56 pm here)

A blogger Im not but I will become one

Once again, I haven't blogged since August. Every six months is not the works of a blogger. I have to train myself to become a blogger. I know I have said this before; but I am gonna hold myself accountable this time; I will blog at least twice a month. I really want it to be 4 times a month, but I will start with 2 times.

Not much is going on in my personal life. Kids are in school. 1 at LSU, 1 at South Louisiana Technical college and 1 at Berwick High. My babies are growing up :(. After years of fighting with my youngest over hearing aids, he finally got a new pair. At 17, he is amazed about what he can hear. Im guessing his age has something to do with it and he has been wearing them faithfully since he received them.

We are planning another ATV trip to Tennessee. I can not wait! I love it there. Also, I get to see one of my good friends and her family. A week in the mountains sounds like heaven.

Crocheting has been going great! I truly love it!!  My little business is growing day by day. I have been working with Indie author, Mary Reason Theriot, to create some items that coincide with some of her books. So far, there is a voodoo doll and vampire coozies for favorite beverages. Im really excited! Not only is Mary a great writer; she is a good friend :).

I've also released quite a few new items and photography props. I get really excited when I connect with photographers who want to use my creations. It's a great partnership!

If you would like to see some of my creations, you can go to www.facebook.com/debutantdesignstoo or www.etsy.com/shop/debutantdesigns.  I will be having an appreciation celebration in the beginning of April for all my great fans and followers. Without them, Debutant Designs would not exist and I wouldn't be doing what I love.

Hope everyone has a great week!

Lapse in Life!!

Started back in February and this is the next post.  WOW!!  I am a blog slacker!  I title this blog entry Lapse in Life because life has been making me lapse on everything.  Life and a stupid thing called Multiple Sclerosis.  Since the last post, I have been sick, on three trips, tempted two craft shows and have had the kids crap to deal with! My world is often so hectic!

The trips were wonderful Texas, Tennessee and Texas again.  I have to say I LOOOOOVVVEEEE Tennessee!  I told my hubby I really want to move there one day.  Hopefully, after my youngest graduates from high school in two years, he will feel the same. The two craft shows were really sort of horrible.  The first one I didnt even make my entry fee back and the second one, I think I made about $80 bucks.  There is another one coming up in November that I will do.  Last year I did pretty well at it!  The kids have their own issues between college, technical school and high school.  Add in the girlfriend of my 20 year old and my 21 year old thinking she knows everything and is ALWAYS right in her opinion; there is always some bickering and such going on. Drives me insane!

The youngest, who is 17, started his Junior Year in High School on the 8th of August and the other two started their schools today LSU and South Lafourche Technical College respectively.  Hopefully, things will settle down.

I am in the middle of an MS flare right now and currently waiting for the doctors office to call me back.  Really sucks when your balance is off and everything you say sounds like a 4 year old taught you how to talk.  Although, my friends 3 year old is so funny, she tries to correct my speech! Gotta love a little mama.

I have been crocheting a few items.  Orders are starting to pick up again.  I think people are getting ready for the cooler weather that will be here before long, well in the North.  Down here in the South we are lucky if we get a week or two of cold weather.  I love the cold weather.

I will try to post more often but please forgive me if I dont.  Im off to crochet a newsboy for a customer and make a beard for a hat.

First time for everything

Who would have thunk it, me blogging? I guess this just proves there is a first time for everything. This week, I am ranting about sickness. I have had a cold bug all week with lots of meds and doctor trips. I really dont like the meds...they wire me up and I cant sleep so what do I do, work around the house. I guess its ok because the laundry is done, the vacuuming, the mopping, the dishes, the dinner but YUCK!! Who likes to do that stuff? Not me. I want to crochet and I have been doing that too. I shipped out 4 orders yesterday that I had finished over the weekend. One was a wholesale order, yep 30 plus hats and 14 appliques. I am venturing into all sorts of things. I even started a webpage. www.debutantdesigns.com Go by and check it out, I would love your opinion on it. Yea, you if anyone is reading this hehehe I may just be ranting for myself. I am gonna go for now...Crochet is calling me. I need some physical therapy for my Multiple Sclerosis and some me time. No teenagers bothering me, yea like that ever happens! Have a great day!
